The Shawnee RC&D is a proud supporter of the Pulaski-Alexander Envirothon. This annual event challenges area youth to build their knowledge of agriculture and environmental theory. In 2016, teams from Century and Egyptian High Schools tied for the title of Pulaski-Alexander SWCD winner. Each school enters two teams with an FFA team advisor.
